UW Redefined

For the second year in a row, Wisconsin A Cappella hosts a benefit concert at the Wisconsin Union Theatre featuring all four of UW-Madison’s a cappella groups.

On February 21st, 2009 at 7:30pm on the stage of the Wisconsin Union Theater the MadHatters, Tangled Up In Blue, Redefined, and Fundamentally Sound will join together.  Tickets: $10 UW students, staff and faculty / $15 general public.  Tickets are available at the Union Theater Box Office and online.

All proceeds from ticket sales, donations, and sponsorship will be given to the American Cancer Society through UW-Madison’s Relay for Life, an annual overnight event designed to spread awareness of cancer prevention, treatments and cures, celebrate survivorship and raise money for research to find more cures for cancer. Relay For Life is the world’s largest fundraising walk.

With the spirit of the Wisconsin Idea and those principles which have guided the development of Wisconsin A Cappella, we are thrilled to be using song to raise awareness of the importance of cancer research, much of which is conducted on our very own campus.
