- Weird Story: When I lived in the dorms I got stuck in an elevator and the emergency phone was out of order. So after yelling and banging on the doors for around 20 minutes someone finally asks if I’m okay and calls 911. The police arrive 20 minutes later, after finding out there really is someone in the elevator and asking me a few questions they tell me not to go anywhere (as I’m trapped in an elevator and can wander off) while they call the fire department to get me out. The fire department arrives a bit later and gets me out in a matter of minutes. All in all, I spent almost an hour and a half in the elevator and all because I wanted to help a friend with their homework…
